It's that time of year again.

Last year I participated in my first every Movember and raised I think $50. This year my goal is to raise $200+. Here is how we can do it. I am taking a page out of David’s book and going to give you Votes on how I should grow out my Movember Stache. So go here and vote and send me a message to your vote.

Rules for the Movember Stache.

For every $5 you donate you get one vote or $20 gives you 5 votes.
If there is a Tie I will leave the decision to the main person. My wife.
This is open to everyone.
Drawing ends on October 31st. Shaving will happen on November 1st and the winner will be announced within the week.
There will be video of me shaving it all off too.

I didn’t get far into the book before I had to go out but I love this book. I will finish this book and then start The Long Run about Matt Long a NYC fire fighter who was run over by a bus in 2005. I attached a video of Matt’s story and I think everyone should watch it. Sorry for the quality I found it on YouTube

Thanks for the feedback everyone.

The reason I asked is because I am working doing a trip from Ottawa to Toronto in Aug. My friends daughter is going in for surgery at Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto and she and I were talking and I came up with the idea that I could ride to T.O. I am going to be making calls in the next week or so to get things set up. I want to have a few people to come with me on this trip but I need to get my bike and a few other things so I can train hard.

I figure I will do about 160 to 180 kms a day. I will be camping along the way and trying to keep my costs at as $0 as I can. I am trying to figure costs out for transportation of our stuff (if not trailer it ourselves), Having a car in case of break downs, and a few other things. But I really want to do this for such an amazing girl who has had t endure so much already. I will post more about her story soon as I have all the details.
