The reason I asked is because I am working doing a trip from Ottawa to Toronto in Aug. My friends daughter is going in for surgery at Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto and she and I were talking and I came up with the idea that I could ride to T.O. I am going to be making calls in the next week or so to get things set up. I want to have a few people to come with me on this trip but I need to get my bike and a few other things so I can train hard.
I figure I will do about 160 to 180 kms a day. I will be camping along the way and trying to keep my costs at as $0 as I can. I am trying to figure costs out for transportation of our stuff (if not trailer it ourselves), Having a car in case of break downs, and a few other things. But I really want to do this for such an amazing girl who has had t endure so much already. I will post more about her story soon as I have all the details.
